One last shot from Dublin, a shimmering glass of Maker’s Mark!

On May 1 we hit Dublin for two days and nights.

On this day one year ago we were at the Cliffs of Moher, where I got engaged.

A year ago today we were here at Clonmacnoise. Who’s making what noise? Whatever, it was very gloomy and pretty.

We liked this bar a lot! This is in Athlone or thereabouts.

We met horses on this road, just hanging out and running free. To the right is the Atlantic Ocean.

We ended up here at this bar (I think it was called The American Bar?), where these guys were in the midst of a stag party. Turns out one of them is related to the owner of The Hidden Shamrock here in Chicago. We sat and drank with them for a bit until they all passed out.

It was exactly a year ago today that we rented bikes and rode around the Aran Islands.

A year ago we were traveling in Ireland, so it’s time to revisit a few of those scenes, like this one: on the road to Galway! Or, Gaillimh, as they say.
